The Prophetic Backbone - Allowable Humanity - eBook
My second eBook, written in 2017 is about the nature of technological proclamations by Silicon Valley-type culture. I challenged this sort of futurism with Biblical knowledge, especially human experience at the "end of this age." There is no similarity in the two forces; AI prophets are speaking with some truth but not the whole, enough to create fear and global chaos. The Bible, likewise, carries the apocalyptic message but leaves humanity with the hope of eternity through faith in Christ - not AI CEOs.
Many tech firms introduce technologies and new products to the world with subtle ideological inferences to behaviorism, beginning with predictions and leaving us with absolutes.
At the core of human nature we create and innovate - this eBook is pro-innovation. But the operation of proclaiming the future of humanity can only be explained as ideological unless transferring past mysticism to futurism is a real occupation.
As tech corporations accumulate our health data including genomics, behaviors-as-personal-value scores in a digital-healthcare network is forthcoming. Brain computer interface (BCI) is for people with therapeutic neuro care but, as long as other tech industries find it something more intriguing, they will reach for the forbidden apple: thought/behavioral control.
Our bodies and thoughts are becoming pure information; bodies as the AI network - understood by no one but by only something.
[excerpts]
When applying neuroscience to justify genetic quality in DNA data correlating to entrepreneurial traits, wealth creators, disruptive technology inventors, emotional intelligence of leaders and a whole host of progressive cultural definitions - business is instilling a biological correlation to otherwise learned employee skills and experience.
The brain is the most accessible, most mysterious and most inspiring organ of the body – one that all scientific disciplines are seeking to replicate in some fashion, notably, through artificial intelligence and cognitive computing.
A subtle ideology insists all new innovation, and futuristic technologies comprise the only pathway by which we can build solutions for a troubled world. This exclusivity being the presumption of tech elitists - only their technology businesses can solve our greatest human issues.
The ideological perspective is this: if we can change humans, we should change humans, we will change humans.
