Darwin’s evolution theory, Origin, (1859) is used as the grand explanation for human existence all the way back to a single-cell organism. Humans, he theorized, evolved from one “tree of life.” The "theory" problem today is this: attempts for digital-human integration such as the Singularity proposes joined with intense AI focus in industries from healthcare, robotics, weaponry, educational tools to consumer products introduce technology without anatomical or biological foundation. On the Origin of Species could not point to fabrication and natural selection - even if written today.
Once humanity is implanted with digital things, is programmable, upgradeable – human evolution is voided because purely biological nature cannot reproduce silicon. Darwin's natural selection ceases. It’s obvious that computer chips, for example, or internet of things transmitters, are silicon-derived products. Natural descent, however, is defined only by DNA of living organisms having lineage from a common progenitor.
The Church gave Darwin absolute fits and still vehemently challenges modern day evolutionists but, my point is, the Bible never presented itself as science; it’s not a science project. It’s a faith, a world view of all life. There must be a human soul that’s capable of holding on to this truth about life just as our minds want to believe in a scientific theory of living matter.
Science has no interest in forming a theory to verify that there is a soul but has also dismissed human soul. This long-held Darwinian theory supports digital sciences like artificial intelligence, to theorize - integrating humans with unnatural technologies - is natural.
Many technology prophets believe they will build a better man formed with digital components. There is no precedent, no Creator-image, no acknowledgment of the soul for alter-man. The artificial intelligentcia have lost all faith in humanity and will forever seek a doorway out of creation.
